My name is Tina Hunt and I am a Creative, Prop Stylist, Abstract Artist and course creator based in Suffolk, UK.

​

I am currently launching Art Classes and workshops in my art studio in the centre of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. 

​

Over the last 11 years I have worked as an Abstract Artist, prop stylist, product and food photographer for many businesses.

​

​​​I have been privileged to have worked with many USA companies helping to make their products look beautiful and elevate their business.

​

I prop-styled the cookbook titled 'Houston Cooks' by Francine Spiering and have written, styled and photographed for Edible Magazine in Houston whilst living there

for the last 11 years in USA.

​

This is where my passion lies and my I believe an eye for styling and 'putting things together' is something that cannot necessarily be learned. My mother was a botanical artist and I thank her for my natural eye and creative spirit. I adore abstract art with textires and washes and following my Mothers path with botanical pieces too.

 

i ​​​began my painting and art career 20 years ago and over the years I have developed my own natural style around a very neutral, natural and organic aesthetic.

​

I create abstract artwork with a neutral and earthy palette. My eye is drawn to worn and weathered patinas and I often get my inspiration from the neutrality of nature and the tones and textures that the seasons bring forth. I aim to evoke a sense of peace in my artwork whilst incorporating an aged feel and texture that time creates.

​

​My process often involves textures and many layers of paint rubbed back and finished with washes of muted color.

 

I work with many mediums and use tea, earth, coffee, pigment, inks, acrylic paints, limestone powder and collage to achieve organic layers and finishes.

​

 ​I have exhibited and shown my artwork at Kauri Gallery, Dallas USA and Grogan Gallery, Houston USA and my art has appeared in Art Folio book 2022.
